Week 1- Robot Arm

I've started development of my 3D model today on Auttdesk 3ds Max. My 3D model is a robot for a game I've been developing.
I started developing the robot's arms as its a simple body part to develop and this will help familiarise me with creating the rest of the robot. Aside from the shoulders, which are made from 3D circles, I made the arms entirely from boxes due to it's low poly count. I have a limit of 2500 polygons on my robot. Both arms added up to a total of 284 polygons. As for the creation of the arms, i created the shoulders by extruding a 2D circle and using the 'cap holes tool' to fill in the other side of the circle which was empty. I originally used cylinders with the front beveled which did look a little bit better, but that made the total poly count for both arms add up to 516, so i decided to use 3D circles instead. The rest of the object was made using boxes,
